NEW FLAT EARTHERS MEME THAT EARTH HAS A BOTTOM, AND THINGS CAN FALL OFF
Flat Earthers are still confused about basic science. And they have a new meme again this week, talking about how they just don’t understand how people and cities don’t fall off the planet into space when they’re on the Earth’s “bottom.” Seriously, this is a thing! I mean, it’s still a thing! And it’s left to all of us to debunk this nonsense over and over and over again. This latest meme argues that the planet Earth can’t really be a globe because then it would have a bottom and things would fall off. Really!

FLAT EARTHERS CONTINUE TO DENY BASIC SCIENCE FACT, THAT EARTH IS A GLOBE
But Flat Earthers, you need to relax! ALL PLANETS ARE GLOBES! Including planet Earth. You can’t simply fall off, no matter where you go on its surface. And every planet (GLOBE) has its own gravitational field, which pulls from the center. In other words, “up” is always towards the sky, and “down” is always at your feet, towards the center of the planet. ALWAYS. NO EXCEPTIONS. And planet Earth seems very large to human beings, including Flat Earthers. So while the horizon may not seem curved, it is. It’s not flat! There’s no edge you can fall off of. And with this absolute logic, this means that people and cities can’t fall off the bottom.

Because there is no bottom! But even if the planet Earth was a flat disc as Flat Earthers remain desperate to believe, it would STILL have a gravitational pull towards its center. So anyoNe or anything on its edge would actually fall sideways, towards the center. In other words, they couldn’t simply fall off said edge. But seriously, this is still a conversation today. Flat Earthers simply won’t go away, though by their own flawed logic they should, if by simply falling off the constantly debunked edge of their own planet.
